A mandate somebody else confirmed
Physical commodities runs on forwarded offers from people nobody has checked. On Inco a mandate can be confirmed by the principal it names, and a closed trade can be confirmed by the counterparty on the other side of it.

The same cargo, four brokers, no mandate
A parcel comes round three times through four intermediaries and each one says they are direct to the seller. They cannot all be. There is no way to tell which one — if any — actually holds the mandate, so everybody wastes a week.
Self-reported track records make it worse. A desk can claim it moved forty thousand tonnes and nothing in the world contradicts it, which is exactly why the claim is worth nothing to the person reading it.
How it works
- 01
Ask the principal to confirm
Name who you represent and what for. They get one link and answer yes or no. No account, no password — nobody makes an account to answer an email.
- 02
Carry the confirmation on your briefs
A confirmed mandate shows on the brief as a seal, with what it covers and when it runs out. Everyone else simply does not carry one — no badge, no accusation.
- 03
Build a record both sides agree on
When a deal closes, the counterparty is asked to confirm what happened. A trade both sides confirmed is the only kind of track record worth showing anyone.
What it connects to
Questions
The ones brokers actually ask before they try it.
- What does a verified mandate actually prove?
- That the principal you named answered and said you represent them, on a date, for a commodity, until an end date. It does not mean Inco audited the company — and the badge says which of the two it is.
- What if a principal will not use Inco?
- Confirming takes one click on one link and needs no account. If they still will not, you simply do not carry the seal, and nothing about your desk is worse off than it is today.
- Can a rating be gamed by asking friendly counterparties?
- Confirmations attach to a recorded close-out on a real deal, one per trade, and the record cannot be edited after the fact. Feedback is double-blind and only ever shown as a band.
- Is any of this public?
- Your desk profile shows what you have earned, and it is not indexed by search engines — you share the link, we do not publish it. Individual feedback is never shown to anyone.
